Next, follow these easy steps:

  1. Login to StatePoliceCU. Close all other apps on your phone before logging in.
  2. Select your preferred deposit account
  3. Sign/endorse the back of your check: “for SPCU mobile deposit only”.  Without this endorsement, we may have to return the check which may result in member accounts being overdrawn
  4. Enter check amount when prompted and carefully enter the check amount to ensure it matches amount written on your check. Delays in processing will occur if the check amount is incorrect.
  5. Take photos of front and back of check
  6. Review and Submit Deposit

Frequently Asked Questions

When will my funds be available?

If a member makes a Mobile Check Deposit by 3:00 pm, Monday-Friday, the funds will be available by 4:30 pm the same day. For deposits made after 3pm Monday-Thursday, funds will be available next business day by 4:30 pm.  Deposits made on a Friday after 3pm or anytime on Saturday or Sunday will be available Monday by 4:30 pm.

Are there limits on the amount of the checks deposited?

Maximum amount for single check deposits is $5,000.  Daily limit on total check deposits is $10,000.

Are there any fees?

There are no additional fees for using Mobile Check Deposit service.

Check Photo Tips:

  • Flatten folded or crumpled checks before taking your photos.
  • Keep the check within the camera’s view finder when capturing your photos
  • Try not to get too much of the areas surrounding the check.
  • Take the photos of your check in a well-lit area.
  • Place the check on solid dark background before taking the photo of it.
  • Make sure that the entire check image is visible and in focus before submitting your deposit.
  • Be sure that all four corners of the check are visible, there are no shadows and the image isn’t blurry.
  • The MICR line (numbers on the bottom of your check) must be readable.
